SVED meets the 3rd Thursday of every month at 12:30pm in the Beloit Municipal Building Basement 119 N Hersey Ave, Beloit. A Zoom link is also available. Please reach out to Emily Benedick for the month’s agenda and zoom information! All members are more than welcome to join us every month!”

Who Can Join SVED? - Any business or individual who wants to contribute to the economic growth of the Solomon Valley is invited to join.

Why Should You Join? - Be a part of the solution! Together, we have a stronger voice and presence. Being a SVED member demonstrates that we are united in caring about economic development within Mitchell County Kansas and the Solomon Valley. While rural Kansas is suffering from declining population, it is more crucial than ever to support and grow business. We need to work together in expanding our economy which in turn benefits our region.

What Are The Time Commitments? - While there are no set time commitments as a member of SVED, members are encouraged to attend our monthly meeting! These meetings are a great opportunity to share what is happening at your business or organization, as well as learn what is happening in Mitchell County.

Our Goal - Grow the economy by assisting existing local businesses who wish to expand or develop a new product or service, or by
identifying and attracting outside businesses to move to our area. We focus on long-term economic development planning.
