Attention Kansas Voters: A presidential preference primary election will be conducted in Kansas this year. The date of the election, along with the names of the candidates for the office of President will be available on the Secretary of State’s website at VoteKansas.gov or visit your local county election office for more information.

Primary Election August 5, 2025 (if necessary)

• Mon June 2nd - Noon filing deadline for all municipal offices
• Fri June 21st - Deadline to Mail UOCAVA Ballots for Primary Election
  
• Tues July 15th - Voter Registration Books Close - Primary Election
• Wed July 16th - Advanced Voting Begins by Mail - Primary Election
                              Advanced Voting Begins in Person - Mitchell County Clerk’s Office
• Tues July 29th - Last Day to Apply for Advanced Mail Ballot
• Mon Aug 4th - Advanced Voting Closes (Noon)
• Tues Aug 5th - PRIMARY ELECTION
• Thurs Aug 7th - Post-Election Audit 2 p.m.
• Fri Aug 8th - Last Day to Receive Ballots Postmarked ON or BEFORE Election Day
