Mitchell County, Kansas, offers a wide variety of long-established health and medical related services. We are progressive in taking care of and assisting the residents and visitors of our communities.

The Port Library is a marvelous place filled with many books, videos, DVD’s, magazines, CD’s, audiobooks, large print books and video games as well as a limited number of genealogy resources The library can be used for any type of free public meeting, with the exception of political fundraisers, or activities that generate income for the user.
The Glen Elder Library offers members of the community free access to a wide variety of books for people of all ages and Patron Initiated Library Loan (PILL). Offered programs include story time for pre-school, summer reading and robotics for school aged children! The library also provides free wi-fi internet, printing services, scanners, 3D printing and computer help.
The Cawker City Library provides many services including free public access computers, magazines, talking books, interlibrary loans, movies on VHS and DVD’s, microfilm reader / printer, Kansas collection, rotating book collection, local history, new books, Summer Library Program and Homework Kansas. The library serves as headquarters for the North Central Kansas Genealogical Society.
